Multiple Security Policies

Is there a way of having multiple security policies or having different security policies for different user roles?

We are undertaking a project to develop a customer portal on Create this year and would like to introduce stricter controls for portal accounts than we have for internal users. For example, we currently have the idle session expires setting to 300 minutes but I would like to have this set to 60 minutes for portal customers.

Looking at the build studio, there appears to only be one global setting for the platform.

Hi Paul,

Yes if you look on the roles themselves, under the security tab, you can now specify role level overrides to these global settings in the security policies. This is something introduced in Create 2024.3 so you may need to check your platform version.
