Anyone know what the History Item Name setting in the Object Settings tab is, and how to use it?
The in-product contextual popup doesn’t shed any light and there is no mention of it at all in the online documentation that I can find.

Hi, this relates to the History feature you can enable in an Interface’s top bar, allowing you to jump back into recently visited records.
This is enabled via the Interface’s “History items” setting, and will then allow a user to see a dropdown of recent records. The “History item name“ setting on each Object defines which field to use as the displayed value in this list…
I agree the help text in this case is not very useful!
