Can you change parameters for different environments?

Hello

I don’t think this is possible but thought I would ask.

We have a rule which sends a PDF document to a defined email address. My query is, can we use one email address for Live and a different one for Build? At the moment we are just changing the email address during testing in Build and then reverting back to the other email when pushing to Live. We just wondered if there was another way?

Hi Amy,

Yes you can. Depending on how you are sending the emails, take a look in communications -> Email Recipients. If you have a fixed address, then you can add any number of fixed addresses down the bottom and you can select which environment they are used with. On my 2020.1 system that works regardless of the recipient source being message or rule.
