Hey everyone,
Just a quick reminder that we have another set of changes added to the ideas portal, from your own brilliant suggestions.
This new feature is all about messaging.
At the moment, there is limited communication from the Ideas app, which makes it hard to interact with other users around different Ideas.
For example, commenters on an Idea do not currently know when another user adds a follow up comment/reply to that same Idea without going back and checking themselves.
All users will now have access to a new My Preferences page, with various subscription and notification options as shown here:
All left side options will be enabled by default for every user. The right-side options are available for any user to use if they wish.
As well as these automatic subscriptions, users can subscribe to individual Ideas ad hoc (using a new link shown on the Idea’s detail page), to receive notification of comments and status changes.
With the new changes you will be able to be more engaged with the Ideas you interact with or have interest with, not just the ones you create.
