We have been setting up multifactor authentication on all of our Office 365 accounts recently and we are looking to do the same to our Customer Services account. All inbound and outbound emails for Converse and Create use this account so before we switch it on we need to figure out if this would impact the systems in anyway. Has anyone else already done this and did it create any issues with Converse or Create?
Hi. The latest version of Converse supports OAuth (“Modern Auth”) access to O365 Imap accounts. Create should also support this. However, I’m not sure how you would use mfa with what is effectively a service account.
