It is possible to have an alarm sound when a emergency call comes into switchboard regardless of the agents status.
So an emergency/crash call comes in and the call is presented to agents as normal and at the same time an alarm sounds alerting all agents via the PC
Thanks for the suggestion—this is actually a great example of a feature that already exists in the system!
When an emergency or crash call is received by the switchboard, it can indeed trigger an audible alert across all agents’ PCs, regardless of their current call status. This ensures that high-priority calls are immediately noticed, even if agents are already engaged.
To enable this, there’s a setting in the Group Switchboard section called:
“Play Priority Call Alert when agent is in a call.”
Once this is switched on, the system will play an alert sound for priority calls, helping teams respond faster in critical situations.
Let us know if you’d like help locating or configuring this setting—we’re happy to assist!
Thanks James for your reply, what I am after is all agents get an alarm when a queue jump call comes in to switchboard regardless of state…
Is this what this is yet to test it lol
