We have recently received reports of customers rolling out new laptops to users of the Liberty Converse desktop application where, since using their new machine, they are presented with just a white screen, or the application appears to freeze.
Following our investigation, it was found to be a specific issue with devices using the Intel Iris graphics adapter in newer models of Dell and HP laptops. The issue is caused by a bug in the Intel driver, which exhibits this issue with applications that utilise the Chromium browser framework.
The issue has been resolved by Intel in the latest stable version of the graphics driver for the Intel Iris GPU, which at the time of writing is v30. Please update your graphics driver to resolve the issue with the Converse Web Agent application.
