Azure automation into Directory errors

I can’t locate anything specifically for this topic. We have an automation upload from Azure (on prem)
Data Source: JigsawHomes Azure AD
Synchronising with: ‘JigsawHomes Azure AD.csv’ (dated: 17/03/2025 02:01)
Imported 1593 contacts in 0.6 seconds
1117 contacts were rejected during importing

ContactCentre 59R
Class of Service - Corporate User / Agent / Power user

We are seeing ‘Errors’ The desk contact can not be deleted as it is the last contact

Does anyone have any information or guide me to documentation that will assist me in understanding fully why this is occurring.

Hi @LynseyLeonard, An Entity must have at least one contact to be added to the system. If an Entity does not have at least one, it is not added. However, if it has been added and you remove the number from the directory, it does not delete the entity as it has not been instructed to, but it also cannot remove the number, as that then breaks the golden rule of having at least one contact for an Entity.

If you have Entities that are no longer needed because they do not have a Contact Number, we can assist you in changing the Data Cleaning Rules so that they reject (delete/do not add) any Entities without at least one Contact Number. However, this may be chargeable as it will require Professional services if the process is complicated.
