Certain data object properties acting weird when duplicating & importing

I am having some issues with specific properties on a data object on Central named Task Template

The following properties are [i] failing on import without error or [ii] not duplicating when rule is fired….?

• Group Text, Single line
• User Text, Single line
• Assign User - Applicant Boolean
• Assign User - Case Owner Boolean
• Assign Group - Case Group Boolean

For the import I can see that values in the export file, but they arent imported an no error is shown, I am importing another Boolean in this import just fine.

For the Duplication Rule, it duplicates all the data including all relationships, except for the 5 fields mentioned.

It seems strange to me that its the same 5 fields are acting strange? Has anyone seen anything like this before.

(I did try to fix by changing to Selective and selected all fields, inc. fields not duplicating)

Hi,

What exactly happens to them, are they left with old value, or the existing value being removed out?

For the duplication are they the source or the destination?

Is there any chance they are working fine but then a subsequent rule is unsetting them? The Field Value History widget would be useful to check for anythign like that, it will show if the values are not changing at all, or changing twice for example.

Thanks for the Field Value History tip, there was indeed a Rule that was resetting these 5 values.

I have disabled and all is working now.
