Citizen Portal Tenant being able to view rent account

Hi all we are trying to add a new facility to the citizen portal for our Housing tenants to log in and be able to view their rent account details we are new to net call so are struggling a bit with the portal side, i have read everything i can find on this site and gone through most of the documentation but it doesn’t say how you can add new facilities to the portal home page we have built a view my rent accounts interface in host. I was hoping that some one had done this before If you can offer any help or advice about the portal we would really appreciate your help.
