We are currently working on our chat bot, hoping to go live early next year, and I’m getting a lot of questions here about accessibility, WCAG and A11y.
I wondered if anybody had any documents they’d be happy to share about the accessibility of the chat bot. Or has anybody done any work on accessibility that might help me?
Hi Cathy. We aim for Web Assistant to comply with WCAG 2.1 AA and I know that a number of councils have previously scanned or reviewed it for compliance. Unfortunately, I don’t have any specific document that I can share. We do however have a WCAG 2.2 AA document for Converse CX which I could share which might help get you started.
