Messages - Send new - Free form

Hi

I’m trying to use the Messages - Send new feature which works great, but i want the content to be editable i.e. most the content i can pre-populate, but i need the user to edit/add more detail, this doesn’t seem possible unless i choose free-form which then doesn’t give the option to pre-pop some of the content, which is really frustrating! please tell me i’m missing something rather than its not possible?

Hi, yes you can do this!

You can insert freetext placeholders into any message template using this toolbar icon…

You give each one a name, and then in the frontend when selecting this message, the user will have form inputs to enter values into those placeholders.
