I have a list widget which has a lot of records we originally were using the allow download as Excel but it doesn’t download and comes up with “There was a problem downloading this file”. it doesn’t happen with the export type of CSV. If the export type of excel is timing out is there a way of extending the timeout?
If you think it’s a timeout you can try extending it via this setting, to confirm that:
Build Studio > System > System Variables > Maximum page execution time
But if that doesn’t help, raise a support ticket to get confirmation of the error, could potentially be an out of memory issue too if it’s a particularly large data set.
We have got around this by creating an export template and scheduling an export into a shared location.
