Populating list element with 3rd party system data

I would like to know how to populate a list element using data from a 3rd party.

I have had a look at using API calls to get the data. I am triggering the API call manually using an action link configured with a signal, but for some reason the signal is not firing the rule to trigger the API call.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Luke,

Is your API call running at all? Have you checked the detective?

You will be able to use an API call to populate an object and display that on a list widget.
