SharePoint file store as primary file storage solution

Hi all,

I’m looking to hear from other customers who are using SharePoint as the primary file store for Liberty Create, to understand how the implementation has gone and what the ongoing experience has been like.

If you’re currently using this approach, it would be really helpful to hear about your experience, particularly:

  • How long you’ve been using SharePoint as the primary files store

  • How the implementation went (any challenges or lessons learned)

  • Any issues you’ve encountered over time (particularly on the Microsoft side. downtime experiences etc)

  • How it’s performing in terms of storage and retrieval, especially with larger files (e.g. documents, videos etc)

  • Any considerations around scalability or capacity usage

We’re exploring this model ourselves and are keen to understand how it’s working in practice for others.

Thanks in advance for any insights!

Chris.

Camden is also looking to implement SharePoint for its primary file store. No insight to share as of yet but keen to follow this.

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

Hope you’re well!

Camden has successfully completed a SharePoint integration on one of our Hosts. It’s saved us loads of storage space and we had a really positive experience completing the integration.

I’d be happy to share some of the set up documentation we created if useful. You can email me at julia.aguiar@camden.gov.uk

Thanks

Julia
