I’m on version 5.1.1 and I need to create a softboard.
I have set up softboards in the past, but it has been several years since I last looked at one and I neglected to document the process at the time.
I have located the softboard settings from the following location: Contact Centre>System>Softboards
Now I need to know how to build it out. Do I have to download a template and work on it line by line, or is there a GUI akin to the Dashboard feature?
I need a softboard as the display will be for a wall mounted PC with auto login on a generic account, therefore a Dashboard won’t work.

The current recommendation for displaying information is to use dashboards instead of legacy softboards as they are no longer officially supported.
I understand that dashboards don’t currently offer the same anonymous access via a simple URL. However, as a cloud platform, access to potentially sensitive data requires authentication through the normal login process.
We do recognise the need for a more seamless viewing experience on large screen displays without requiring user login, and we are looking to improve this. That said, I can’t commit to a specific timeline at this stage.
