Drop-ins are open to all users and customers. These are 30 minute weekly sessions where we share tips, tricks, feature previews and best practices for using Spark and process improvement.
Sessions start at 1pm UK time every Wednesday.

2 September 2026 – Your Process Goals and How You Get There

In this session we’ll explore how to define meaningful process goals and use them to create a practical roadmap for your process management journey. We’ll discuss common objectives, how to align stakeholders around them, and how Spark can help you track progress toward achieving them.
9 September 2026 – Which Processes to Map and How to Prioritise
One of the most common challenges organisations face is deciding where to start. With hundreds of processes across the business, attempting to map everything at once is rarely effective.
This session will explore practical techniques for selecting and prioritising processes. We’ll discuss factors such as business risk, customer impact, regulatory requirements, operational performance and strategic importance. You’ll leave with a framework for creating a realistic and valuable process mapping programme.
16 September 2026 – Building Your Process Architecture
A well-structured process architecture provides the foundation for a scalable and maintainable process library. It helps people understand how processes fit together and provides a framework for organising process content across the organisation.
We’ll discuss different approaches to process architecture, how to structure top-level and supporting processes, and how to create a clear hierarchy that supports governance, navigation and reporting. This session is ideal for organisations preparing to build or expand their process library.
23 September 2026 – Your Process for Managing / Improving Processes
Process improvement itself should be treated as a process. Without a defined approach, it’s difficult to maintain consistency, governance and momentum across improvement activities.
Join us as we explore how leading organisations create structured processes for identifying opportunities, reviewing processes, approving changes and embedding continuous improvement. We’ll share practical examples and discuss how Spark can support a sustainable improvement framework.
30 September 2026 – Process Mapping Basics
Process mapping is one of the most valuable skills in process improvement, but getting started can feel overwhelming. Fortunately, the fundamentals are straightforward and can be applied immediately.
In this session we’ll introduce the core principles of process mapping, demonstrate best practices using UPN, and share practical tips that help create clear, useful and maintainable process maps. Whether you’re completely new to process mapping or looking for a refresher, this session will provide a solid foundation.
