Switchboard for emergency calls Can this be done

Just to illiterate to NETCALL, when all the operators are on a call, we get a loud sound alerting all the switchboard operators there is an emergency, there is also a banner at the top of all the screens.

This is brilliant and works well to alert a busy switchboard that there is an emergency, however when the operators are not on the board the call that comes through is not loud it has the same ring tone as a normal, call the only difference is it is red.

What we would like to know is if there was any way the loud noise and the banner at the top of the screen could apply regardless as to whether there is an operative not on a call. This would be helpful because it will alert the whole room that there is an emergency and not just one operator.

Thanks for the post — it’s very interesting and definitely seems like something the system should be doing. Before we submit this as a feature request, I’d like to investigate it as a potential fault.

Ideally, the system should emit at least one blast of the alert noise across all consoles when a call is answered. This mimics the behaviour of the “red phone” system it replaced.

Could you please email this to support@netcall.com or raise it as a fault on the support portal so we can explore it from that angle first?

Thanks,
James
