Update Timer Target

I am trying to update/ change a running timer target , which is clearly not happening. I have to restart the timer to change targets but this new timer starts from zero . I need to consider the previous durations too.
Example :
Timer start / Total Timer Duration - 3 Hours
SLA Target - 5 Hours

Now if i change the SLA Target to 4 hours , the timer doesn’t react . I have to restart the timer for it to use the new SLA target(4 hrs) and New timer starts from zero . In this case i need to consider the 3 hours it was already running through. Any help

I have consulted with our team and you currently are not able to change a running timer’s target.

But it is a great idea, why not submit it in to our ideas portal?

Yes i wasn’t able to change the Target value . Only solution was to create another timer which restarts on Target change and you can also pass on negative values via composite.
