Is it possible to find out which user sent a message using a message template under Case > Message tabs?

At a guess i suspect you’d need to add in a relationship to user that gets populated when the record is created. I dont think there are any inhrenet relationships or properties that record it.

Ali is correct here although using history clocks on records will help you derive something if you need to understand something that has already happened for compliance in a pinch.
